“Chaplains on the Harbor gave me a place to stay, food, and showers before I went to treatment, and a job and support after treatment where I am learning farming, business, peer support, recovery coach, and outreach skills. Today I am a Farm Manager-in-training, and I will support and train others that enter the program.”

David joined Chaplains in January of 2021 as a farm apprentice and quickly stepped to the plate to become our first-ever beekeeper. Now a Certified Apprentice Beekeeper, David also helps run our shelter in Westport during the cold weather.
